Every Daily Comps competition can be entered free of charge by post. A free entry has exactly the same chance of winning as a paid ticket.
Free entries are attached to your account: once your postcard is logged your ticket numbers show there, and we email you if you win. Registration is free and takes a minute.
Not in an envelope. Write clearly: your full name exactly as on your account, the email address on your account, your date of birth, your full UK postal address, your contact phone number, and the exact competition name as shown on the site. One postcard is one entry.
Send it by first or second class post to the address below. It must reach us at least 24 hours before the competition's closing time. Each valid postcard is added to the competition as a free ticket when it arrives, and the postcard is then securely destroyed.
Your free ticket sits in the same pool as every paid ticket and has exactly the same chance of being drawn. You will see it in your account like any other ticket.
The free postal route covers Instant Win games too. Send a postcard in the same way with the game's exact name, and you get one free play per person per Instant Win game. We play it for you as soon as we log your postcard, which we aim to do the day it arrives, with the same chance as a paid play, and any winning credits are added to your account straight away. You will see the play, marked as free by post, alongside any other plays on the game's page.
Yes. Free entries go into exactly the same pool as paid tickets and the draw treats them identically. One free entry is one ticket, with the same chance as any other ticket.
Yes. Write your entry on an unenclosed postcard and post it by first or second class. Do not put it in an envelope: postcards sent inside an envelope, or several posted together, count as one single entry.
One entry per postcard, up to the same per-person ticket limit that applies to paid entries for that competition. Each postcard must be posted separately.
At least 24 hours before the competition's closing time shown on its page. Postcards received after that cannot be entered. Allow at least three working days for post.
Yes. Free entries are added to the Daily Comps account registered to the email address you write on the card, so you can see your ticket numbers there once your postcard is logged, and we email you if you win. Create your free account first.
Yes. Write the Instant Win game's exact name on your postcard. You get one free play per person per Instant Win game, played as soon as we log your postcard (we aim to do that the day it arrives), with exactly the same chance as a paid play. Any winning credits go straight into your account. The postcard must still arrive at least 24 hours before the game closes, and the game must still have plays left.
Once your entry has been logged and your ticket number issued, the postcard is securely destroyed. Your details are handled under our Privacy Policy.
