These terms govern your use of Daily Comps. By entering any competition you agree to these terms in full.
Eligibility
Entrants must be 18 years or over and legally resident in the United Kingdom. Proof of age and identity may be required before any prize is awarded.
Entries
Every competition can be entered either by paid online entry or, free of charge, by the free postal entry route set out below. Both routes are entered into the same draw and have an equal chance of winning. Where a competition asks a question, only entries giving the correct answer are entered. The maximum number of tickets one person may hold is shown on each competition page; tickets obtained in excess of that limit are removed from the draw and, if one is drawn, the prize is redrawn. The closing date for each competition is shown on the relevant competition page.
Free postal entry
No purchase is necessary. To enter any competition free of charge, first create a Daily Comps account (we need your details to verify eligibility and contact you if you win), then send a postcard — unenclosed, not in an envelope — by first or second class post to: Daily Comps Ltd, PO Box [TO BE CONFIRMED BEFORE LAUNCH], United Kingdom. Write clearly on the postcard: (1) your full name exactly as on your account; (2) the email address on your account; (3) your date of birth; (4) your full postal address; (5) your contact telephone number; (6) the exact name of the competition you are entering, as shown on the site; and (7) the answer to the competition question, where one is asked. One postcard is one entry; each entry must be sent separately, and several postcards in one envelope are not counted. Postal entries are allocated a ticket number from those still available and are securely destroyed once processed. Postal entries must be received at least 48 hours before the competition's closing date to be processed in time. Free postal entries are entered into exactly the same draw, on the same terms, with the same chance of winning as paid entries, and are subject to the same maximum number of entries per person for that competition. Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the UK. Illegible, incomplete or late entries cannot be processed.
The Draw
Every competition is drawn on its published closing date whether or not all tickets have been sold, and closing dates are not extended. Winners are selected using a cryptographically secure random number generator across all entries, paid and free alike, and there is one first-prize winner per competition. Each draw is recorded in an audit trail, and the winning ticket number is published on the competition page and on our Winners page. Winners are contacted using the details on their account, so it is the entrant's responsibility to keep those details up to date.
Prizes
Prizes are as described on the competition page and remain the property of the promoter until delivered to the winner. Delivery within the UK is free. No cash alternative is offered and prizes are not transferable; once delivered, a winner is free to keep or sell their prize.
Refunds
Paid entries are final and non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law or where a competition is cancelled by the promoter.
